Affinity by Serif (now part of Canva) is a graphics software that I use for most of the character sheets and other materials.
I actually primarily use Affinity Publisher, which was the version around when I was introduced to it, and the related Affinity Designer1.

In v1 and v2 of the suite of Affinity products, the two applications (and Affinity Photo which I don’t have) would interoperate if you owned both (with a few caveats - it is sometimes a little easier to open up Designer for a few specific things), but in v3 it’s all just one app from the start. ↩
